They come from customers having purchased your products/services and desperantly wanting to tell the world how good they are!By fishing organizations posted on Friday, December 4, 2009 @ 7:24 AMTestimonials are a great way to prove your worth to your potential customers. One word of caution: do not ever attempt to place fake testimonials on you site. Believe it or not, many people try to do this and get in big trouble in the process. False testimonials surmount to fraud, which is not taken lightly. By lewis posted on Saturday, December 5, 2009 @ 10:41 PMTestimonials should be original and will not be penalized by Google.By Justin posted on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 @ 1:43 AMWe usually encourage our customers to post their testimonials on small business reviews websites. Good or Bad. This serves as a gentle reminder for everyone in the business that each client is important for us, big or small.By memory foam posted on Monday, January 11, 2010 @ 9:08 PMTestimonials are playing a larger and larger role in the way people buy, as over time more and more people buy online and cannot see the product directly. A potential customer always prefers an opinion that they see as independent before they will trust and purchase. For example, Amazon.com's extensive product reviews from customers are a very effective selling tool. I look at their reviews for every electronics purchase I make.By Alan@Tulsa Real Estate posted on Thursday, January 21, 2010 @ 5:07 AMGarrett, you are 100% correct. I am from the real estate industry and hope you know the value of a good testimonial in our gig and the significant impact it does to our profile. Webmasters are nowadays adding a separate testimonial to their websites and promoting them equivalent to that of their sales page just like yours. Even me will check out the testimonials of the owner before buying any service/product from him and I think this applies to every single buyer. The testimonials not only testify our services, but also builds faith with the potential customers. They TRUST us based on the testimonials.PS: I read some of your reviews and understand you have done some incredible service in the past and continue the streak :) Great words on that page. All the best. By Webdesign Roosendaal posted on Sunday, February 28, 2010 @ 10:31 AMTestimonials are incredibly useful. I have to admit though, I prefer to guide satisfied customers to my Google Local Business listing and convince them to put their remarks there. It improves my local search results a lot!By Kevin posted on Thursday, March 4, 2010 @ 6:20 AMYou are completely right about the power of testimonials !Cheers, Kevin By Car Rental Auckland posted on Thursday, April 1, 2010 @ 11:43 AMMeaningful customer testimonials have always been insightful and can be used wisely for product improvisation. I know so many people who just ignore their customer's feedback once the product/service has been sold/done. They are not intrigued by its prominence in their business future. I guess I should share with all of them this post. It has pitched the right essence.Best Regards, Craig :) By Action Websites posted on Sunday, August 22, 2010 @ 9:26 PMI absolutly agree that there is power in testimonials. I put testimonials on all my important personal business sites, and try to get my clients to allow me to put testimonials on sites I make for them. Adding pictures to testimonials makes them even more powerful, as does adding video testimonials.By Warner Carter posted on Monday, September 13, 2010 @ 4:31 PM"social proof" is what professional copywriters call testimonialsBy Mava posted on Sunday, November 14, 2010 @ 7:24 AMThanks for sharing.
