Custom Professional Favicons By JVF Consulting

We’re going to admit something kind of geeky. JVF really likes favicons. They’re not only fun, but it’s a great way to make a website stand out and give it a creative edge. Favicons allow your visitors to create a visual connection with your site and act as great branding tool. When JVF deploys a custom website, we make sure every aspect is dialed in before we deploy it, that means the addition of a custom favicon.
Favicons are also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon. They’re a 16x16 pixel square icon associated with a particular website or webpage. The favicon is displayed in your browser's address bar, bookmarks & favorites list, tabs and even desktop shortcuts to web pages. Below are some of the custom favicons we have created for our customers that we would like to share with you.

I found this so cute. The problem is I am using chrome and it doesn't show your favicon. Not fair...

Favicons are incredible resource for brand building. I personally liked your. You have squeezed in the alphabets to fix in that small space and has turned out creative as well. I emphasized about favicons to my designers when they were designing my website and logo. I guess some sort of awareness has to be thrown on the prominence of favicons.. If i had not designed my site earlier, I would have definitely hired you guys for that task. Loved your portfolio and approach to work.

Craig

These are excellent! There's more to favicons than post people think; you have to take care of distortion, contrast against the browser, transparency... it's a whole new bird!

I tried making a favicon but the edges were jagged. Anyone know how to solve that?
